If you know me (which none of you on here probably do) you’ll know how much I love taking pictures – which can be a bit annoying if you’re my friend and you’re having bad day. But honestly, taking pictures is one of my favourite things. I could spend hours and hours looking through old photos and reminiscing on memories, I love the joy it brings me.
For the past two years I’ve been making scrap books for each year of my life, I have a completed one for my 22nd year, and my 23rd one is obviously still currently WIP. There is something so lovely about going through your photos and only getting a select few printed out compared to the 1000s that you probably have on your phone – I also always get really nervous that one day they’re all going to accidentally get deleted. Then getting the photos printed out and arranging them nicely in a scrapbook – the process is almost meditative and I always completely zone out sticking away while playing some nice music in the back ground. Then flicking through your albums with your friends is always so nice – and I always think people are so impressed with scrapbooks even though they’re super easy to make!
If you don’t currently scrapbook I couldn’t recommend it enough – and it doesn’t have to be that expensive!
Where to get the things you need from:
- Scrapbook – Paperchase
- Photos – FreePrints – an app, and yes, you can get the prints FOR FREE. 45 free prints a month. It’s amazing.
- Glue and scissors
- Pens for doodling around the pictures
Super super easy, I hope this has encouraged you to start printing your memories instead of having them hidden away on a phone.
